If you are a survivor or a loved one of a survivor, please know that we are here for you; you are not alone.

Peterborough Rape Crisis Care Group (PRCCG)

Established in 1983 to provide a free, confidential, and non-judgemental support service for victims and survivors who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives. PRCCG recognise the gender context of sexual violence in that it disproportionately affects women and that the majority of sexual violence is a result of gender inequality in our society.

All of us deserve to live free from the fear and threat of sexual violence. At PRCCG we work to raise awareness of the prevalence and impact of rape, sexual assault and abuse, advocate for better health, justice and community responses, and work to make sure that no matter what happened or when, victims and survivors can access specialist support.

Our specialist support services include:

  • Trauma informed emotional support
  • Independent advocacy through the criminal justice process

  • Group work

Proud members

We are proud members of Rape Crisis England & Wales, adhering to their Rape Crisis National Service Standards to ensure the provision of consistently high-quality specialist services to women and girls.

I have been supporting my daughter, where my daughter would share things and get upset I didn’t know how to handle it and working with Jenny has gave me the skills and confidence to support my daughter. I have been less stressed and I haven’t been panicked. Being able to talk to Jenny has made me feel like this is what happened and this is how I hold the space, and this is how I remain calm to support my daughter. The support helped me make sense of what happened. I most valued just having the time and the space to talk and discuss any issue around my daughter and also how I was feeling. I even thought Jenny was flexible with the times, she’d make an appointment for every two weeks and I stretched it to 4 weeks to ensure I had time to reflect and do things I needed at home. Jenny was flexible and it was really good. Its all excellent.”
